Moroccan Mosaic Slab Albaicin Beige / Bordeaux, Oval, 120x80cm

We offer a wide variety of sizes, making our handcrafted mosaic slabs suitable for use in many different settings. As a dining table, kitchen table, bistro table, balcony table, or garden table. They also look particularly elegant in a sunroom. Purely handcrafted and exceptionally solid quality. The base is, of course, hand-forged. Morocco is

renowned worldwide for its art of mosaic-making, as these mosaic masterpieces are a true feat of Moroccan craftsmanship; it takes years of practice for a craftsman to master this art and learn over 360 geometric shapes...!

The individual mosaic pieces are fired in a clay kiln, which creates color variations in the glaze; they are then cut by hand. The artisans must have their pattern precisely memorized, as all ceramic pieces are laid out upside down on the base and subsequently fixed with cement.

The panels are heavy and are placed loosely on the base; they require no fastening.

The mosaic slabs are easy to maintain and water-resistant. Mosaics with an open-pored, unglazed surface can be sealed with a stone glaze or colorless natural wax. This makes them moisture-repellent.
Store the tabletop of your mosaic table in a frost-free location during the winter, as otherwise mosaic particles may come loose.
